The Cozy Corner
The Cozy Corner is a wholesome cafe located in the the busy tourist town of Taupo, New Zealand. After moving from Sydney, the owners Camilla and Ryan had the formula for a great cafe delivering excellent food, but they needed the online presence to spread the awareness. I approached them about creating a website to get their delicious menu online, and what started with just a simple website turned into a marketing strategy plan, cafe photography, several design projects, and social media management.
WEBSITE CREATION
A clean, fresh and bright website design was needed to reflect the wholesome and fresh food served at the cafe.
The key aspect was getting their detailed menu online. One key point-of-difference at The Cozy Corner is that they cater to many different dietary requirements. We wanted to showcase this digitally so when locals and tourists alike were researching where to eat, The Cozy Corner was the ultimate choice.
2. PHOTOGRAPHY
Over the years I have captured menu changes and new dishes to reflect the seasons. Below are some images from a recent summer shoot featuring their acai bowls, fresh summer smoothies and juices, and some wholesome cabinet food such as chia pudding.
3. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Being a busy cafe owner, Camilla and her team didn’t have time to manage their social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook.
I stepped in to help manage their social media accounts from creating new content, planning and scheduling. I utilised some of my photography, as well as planned additional content to help diversify their feed. We ensured it was bright, eye-catching and most of all… made you hungry!
